Since the twenties, one of the most powerful yet least well-known mafia group in the world has been casting its web all around the globe: the Corsican mafia. The French authorities have for long denied its existence. In fact, and it is actually the reason for its power, it was considered useful and left to prosper by the French government. Today, the entanglement of this mafia within the inner workings of the State (police, justice, special forces, diplomacy), and within the financial, business, and industrial world, has created a grey area where conniving and cross-interests get mixed up. Two films composed of archival footage and interviews.
