How do you communicate when you can't speak? Issa and Hedi are four-year-old twins suffering from autism, which prevents them from communicating other than through onomatopoeia, screaming and crying. Morgane Doche knows all about this inability to communicate. At the age of 3, she lost the use of speech and part of her body. She then had to relearn how to stand, walk, talk and find her place in a society based on communication. Without ever being able to speak.
Morgane has moved in with Issa and Hedi's family. Convinced that the boys will be able to go to school, Elodie and Oijdi, their parents, do everything they can to get the twins to start talking. Through speech therapy exercises, short stays in a specialized centre, contact with other disabled children in an open nursery, sensory experiences at the seaside or with ponies, Elodie and Oijdi see their children go from cries to noises, from syllables to words and then to sentences. In September 2016, Issa and Hedi will eventually be accepted in kindergarten.
Words against evils. Morgane Doche, herself deprived of the ability to speak, has signed a gripping first documentary. A beautiful and unclassifiable film - Télérama
