Inspired by the work of sociologists Monique and Michel Pinçon-Charlot, these two films describe the relationship between the wealthiest French citizens and the rest of society. What position do they occupy? How did they acquire it? How do they maintain it? In two episodes, The Richs' Delight unveils the often invisible strategies that enable the wealthiest to stay at the top of the social pyramid and consolidate their power and influence over space, time and, of course, people.
