Yami 2 is an independent audiovisual production company based in Paris, founded in 2006 by Christophe Nick and Pierre Péan.
An investigation laboratory
Conceived as an investigative laboratory, Yami 2 produces high-impact documentaries that undergo lengthy development. Our favourite topics are historical investigations that shed light on the present, geopolitics and global disorder, and more broadly any editorial project that explores issues of power or points of fracture in modern society.
An international catalog
With a catalog of some sixty documentaries, Yami 2 has been expanding internationally for 20 years, working in co-production or pre-purchase with major European public broadcasters (ARTE and France Télévisions first, but also ARD, ZDF, BBC, Rai, RTS, RTBF, RTE, SVT), Americans (PBS) and Asians (NHK, Thai PBS and TVNZ).
Digital productions
Yami 2 has also expanded into digital productions in partnership with Upian, coordinating web campaigns with some forty broadcasters worldwide and short formats.
