He is thirty. They are twenty five. Together, they decide to unravel their family’s history.

To search their own identity, they leave in search of their roots. They drove thousands of miles. They go where their parents were in the past, they question people to find out and to understand. At the end of the road lies the present, their own childhood, their adolescence, and their own choices. Both films are diaries, with a first person narrator.
